— What you’ll do

The day-to-day.

  • Provide personal care assistance: bathing, dressing, transfers, mobility, meals, medication reminders.
  • Support household tasks: light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, errands when authorized.
  • Document care provided each shift in keeping with state and HAAS standards.
  • Communicate with clients, families, and HAAS supervisors about changes in needs or concerns.
  • Build rapport with clients while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
  • Follow each client's individualized care plan.
— What we’re looking for

Qualifications.

  • PCA/CFSS training certification (or willingness to complete it before placement — HAAS supports this).
  • Reliable transportation to client homes.
  • Background check clearance per Minnesota DHS requirements.
  • Professional, respectful communication with clients and families.
  • Bilingual or multilingual candidates strongly encouraged.
  • Awareness of the Minnesota 310-hour monthly limit on PCA work across all agencies.
